In Underwater Cities, which takes around 30-45 minutes per player, players represent the most powerful brains in the world, brains appointed due to the overcrowding of the Earth to establish the most habitable underwater areas possible.
The principle of the game is the placement of cards. Three colored cards are placed along the edge of the main board in 3 x 5 slots, which are also colored. Ideally, players can place cards in the slots of the same suit.
Then they can take both actions and benefits: the action shown in the main card slot and also to the advantage of the card. Actions and perks can allow players to acquire raw materials; to build and improve city domes, tunnels and production buildings such as farms, desalination plants and laboratories in their personal underwater area; to move their marker on the initiative track (which is important for the order of players in the next round); to activate the player's "a-cards"; and to collect cards, both special and basic which allow better decision possibilities during the game.
