Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game takes place in the world of Marvel Comics. To configure the game, the players choose a Mastermind (Magneto, Loki, Dr. Doom, etc.), stack the attack cards of this villain below, then modify the deck of the villain as needed according to the particular plan of this villain. Players then choose a number of Hero-Spider-Man, Hulk, Cyclops, Wolverine, etc. decks. - mix them together; since players only use a handful of the hero decks out of the fifteen included, the hero deck can vary greatly in terms of what's available.
