It is the fishing festival on the island of Chawaï and all the Chawaïans dive into the lagoon in order to bring back as many fish as possible for the evening feast.
Catch the little chardines, the strange sea lanterns, the fierce tiger fish or the majestic tuna-emperors, but beware of the indigestible jellyfish and the pilferer gulls!
When divers compete for the same prey, it is the chaloha kiti, the great spirit of the sea, which separates them.
Happy fishing everyone!
